Nestled within the vibrant community of Brisas de Zicatela in Puerto Escondido, Café Blason stands out as a caffeinated oasis that seamlessly blends comfort, quality, and a touch of local charm. As you step into this inviting café, the gentle sound of waves crashing nearby sets a peaceful backdrop, making it the perfect spot for both relaxation and productivity.

The café’s atmosphere is a harmonious mix of cozy and contemporary, with tasteful décor that invites you to unwind. Whether you’re working remotely or catching up with friends, the ambient music and serene environment create an ideal setting. Each corner of Café Blason is designed to provide a welcoming experience, encouraging patrons to linger a little longer. Customers rave about the great service and beautiful space, with one visitor, Michele Ranta, sharing her delight in staying all day to enjoy the delicious menu options.

Café Blason excels at offering a diverse array of delectable dishes and refreshing beverages. Their breakfast menu includes flavorsome offerings that would excite any palate. Imagine starting your day with their heavenly avocado toast complemented by crispy bacon, or diving into a plate of chilaquiles bursting with freshness. For lighter fare, their salads are vibrant and loaded with nutrients, perfect for those seeking a healthy bite. Coffee enthusiasts will be pleased to find expertly crafted lattes and cold brews, while the non-caffeinated crowd can indulge in refreshing agua de mango or their enticing selection of smoothies.

While most dishes receive glowing feedback, it seems that perfection is a work in progress; a few customers have noted inconsistencies, especially with the iced matcha that fell short of expectations. Nevertheless, the high praise for the espresso and affogato speaks volumes about the café’s competency in preparing favorites that keep patrons coming back. As Stavros Vasileiadis noted, whether it’s “Café Malagua or Blason,” this spot delivers “great coffee and really nice breakfast/brunch items.”

But perhaps what truly sets Café Blason apart is its community spirit—a place where you can connect with locals and travelers alike, basking in the laid-back vibe of Puerto Escondido. Especially for digital nomads, the reliable wifi and quiet workspace prove invaluable, making it easy to settle in and get some work done while enjoying a stunning view of the ocean.

So, whether you’re a foodie in search of your next favorite brunch spot, a remote worker seeking a cozy environment, or simply a coffee lover wanting to taste the local brew, Café Blason awaits your visit. Dive into their inviting menu, soak up the tropical atmosphere, and leave with not just a satisfied appetite but also a warm sense of belonging in this charming corner of Mexico.

I came here for the wifi but loved SO much more! Great service and beautiful space. I had a latte, agua de mango, chilaquiles, and a salad (I stayed all day!) and everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more from their menu. The co-working space was quiet with good fans AND a little view of the ocean. 11/10!

The spot is pretty and the avocado toast and bacon breakfast are heaven but i must say that the iced matcha was really disappointing It was way to watery and didnt even really taste like matcha... the espresso ans the affogato were good though

This is Café Malagua or Blason. Same place. Don't be confused. Great place, quiet, with lots of young crowd, chill music, really good coffee, great juices/snoothies (but nothing groundbreaking) and very nice breakfast/brunch items. You are on Zicatela Beach so obviously the prices are a touch higher than the norm but it's worth it.
